New Single to support Stand Up To Cancer

Musician Dave Stewart and GHOST The Musical are proud to announce the release of a new single on 22nd June, the proceeds of which will go to support Stand Up To Cancer. Stewart is a long-standing ambassador for SU2C and the duet entitled With You, sung by Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy, who play the iconic roles of Sam and Molly, will be the first-ever theatrical single to benefit cancer research.

Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy will lead the cast in GHOST The Musical in Matthew Warchus’ stage musical version of the Academy Award® winning film, featuring music and lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard and will have its World Premiere this Spring 2011.The critically acclaimed film nominated for best picture in 1990, is now a musical, opening in London’s West End at the Piccadilly Theatre on June 22, 2011. Directed by Mathew Warcus, written by Bruce Joel Rubin with lyrics by Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard.

To support the fight against cancer, GHOST The Musical will donate its proceeds from the sale of the musical’s EP, featuring the single With You, to Stand Up To Cancer. The EP is available for pre-sale now and will be released to the public on June 22, 2011.
